" The world lost a wonderful person on April 26, 2024, and we will never be the same" Gregory G. DeJohn, of Staten Island, (Brooklyn), NY. passed away in Staten Island Hospital, NY surrounded by his loving family at the age of 70.
Gregory was a licensed funeral director and the owner of Cobble Hill Chapels, Brooklyn, NY and funeral director for Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, Toms River, NJ.
We can only hope to keep Gregory's memory alive.
He is survived by his loving wife Paula (Intelisano) DeJohn; mother Marie (Lewis) DeJohn; daughter Sophia Flagg; sisters Lorraine DeJohn and Claudia (John) Saraceno; sister-in-law Teresa Pizzi (Anthony) granddaughters GiaMarie and Elizabeth. Several nieces Brookelynn Pesola, Raquel Tagliavia, Christine Saraceno, Rosemaur Davis (Kevin), nephew Damian Pesola, great nieces Isisjade Pesola, Gianna Maldonado and Zayn Assad and many Good Friends he made through the years.
Visitation will be held Wednesday 2-5 PM & 7-9 PM and Thursday 2-5 PM & 7-9 PM at Cobble Hill Chapels, 171 Court Street, Brooklyn, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, 11:00 AM at St. Agatha's RC Church, 702 48th Street, Brooklyn, NY followed by Entombment at Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
